As an elected official serving the people of Forsyth County, I think it is my duty to make sure you know
my views on issues that come before the Board of Commissioners. Check back frequently, and let me know how good or bad I'm doing as your elected official. After all, it's
your right to know.

Representing District 4
A new page has been added to the left navigation bar. It's called Representing District 4. The page is in response to
some concerns heard over the past week or two from residents during this little anti-SPLOST dust-up we are going through right
now. The page details the specific significant accomplishments I have brought to District 4 over my term as commissioner.
We won't mention the numerous other county-wide improvements I helped to shepherd through that benefit the residents of
District 4 as well, but will focus on those that benefit District 4 alone. Click on the link below to read the facts
about what has been accomplished in District 4 since I became commissioner. Representing District 4

Into the belly of the beast, or How it went at the anti-SPLOST meeting
While others feared to enter the belly of the beast, your intrepid commissioner decided to take on the anti-SPLOST committee
in order to get the real facts out into the public. This post de-bunks each and every claim of that sorry excuse for a committee.
Click on the link below to read about their lies and errors, especially as it pertains to their website. Also, read the
truth behind just what percentage of SPLOST projects have actually been completed by the city and the county. The answer will
surprise many (but not regular readers of this site).

My commissioner expense reports are now posted
I promised these to the miserable people out there who think that all elected officials are dishonest have have things
to hide. Which is a load of dog-squeeze.
Don't expect any more.

Pay attention, people! Don't buy the anti-SPLOST lies
The first lies (other than those of the good CM) have surfaced from the anti-SPLOST forces. And just like the "Whack-A-Mole"
game at the carnivals, I'm going to whack them back down every chance I get.
Read about the truth that shatters the lies in Hot Topics by clicking on the link below:

The Gary Smith File makes it debut
I can already hear the whining and crying even now. But facts are facts, and opinion is opinion. It is a fairly long
read, because it tries to explain why some of the charges against Gary Smith have a decidedly different view when looked at
without any personal agenda or thirst for revenge. Where facts are required, I have provided them. Where opinion is needed,
I have stated mine. You may differ with me on the opinion, but the facts are not subject to interpretation.
Read the whole story about the Gary Smith circus by clicking on the link below. For those of you who are determined to
hang Gary Smith regardless of the facts, this will not satisfy you, but it will be accurate nonetheless.

Jon Flack is back! And ready for another spanking!
Former chew-toy, Jon Flack, announced his candidacy for District 4 county commission today. It didn't take him 12 hours
to commit his first major blunder, which was to post his issues page on the internet.
Read about his income redistribution scheme in Campaign Corner by clicking the link below. After this, we'll
be ignoring Mr. Flack until after July 9th.

Thanks to a great 2007!
Each year we give thanks to the many people who make this job possible and productive. Please take a look at the
people on this list, and if you get the chance, thank them as well.
I may be the public face of the county commission, but these people stay and do the hard work every year.
Click on the link below to see who deserves our thanks for a great 2007.
